Kaleb-3 Months

Today is Kaleb's 3 month birthday!  He is growing up so fast.  I took him to the doctor a couple of weeks ago for his 2 month checkup and he wieghed 12 pounds and was 23 inches long....healthy as can be!  This is a photo shoot in Kim's new garage.  We were helping her clean her new house while Kaleb and Miles just relaxed in their car seats enjoying the cool breeze.  It was like 71 degrees today-PERFECT.  Abby and Isaac were talking to the boys and Kaleb was smiling sooooo big.  As I stated in the previous blog he is talking so much!  He is the sweetest thing when he wakes up first thing in the morning.  Anywho this is his 3 month update!  Oh and congratulations to Kim and Mike on their new home purchase.  It is the most exciting thing and I am so glad that they are getting to experience the pleasure of being home owners!!! Now they are close to all of us which will make it much easier on Miles and Kaleb's relationship!!!!

My 1st Mother's Day

Well I officially celebrated my first mother's day this year and it was great!  We all went to church together and I got a beautiful hanging plant for being the "Newest Mother" in our ward.  It was fun to finally be included in the traditions.  Kim and Mike came down and we all ate lunch at mom's which was good too.  Mom and Brian gave me the sweetest cards and it made me realize how lucky I am to be a mother.  I have waited so long to be here and I honestly am blessed to have my son.  It is such a huge responsibility to raise a good child and I hope that I will do just that.  Kaleb is such an amazing baby and I can't wait to spend the years to come with him.  His is smiling and talking to me tons now and it just makes me melt!  I already get emotional thinking about him growing up and leaving me so I plan to use every minute wisely....I thank Heavenly Father every day for my life....I couldn't ask for more.

We also all went in together and bought Mom and canner and I can't wait to learn how to use it.  Hopefully it will get us one step closer to getting our food storage complete!  Love you Mom and I would be lost without you.  You have set such a wonderful example for me as to what I want to be in a parent and I will do my best to fulfill it!  Happy Mother's Day to all of you out there!

I had to add these pictures because I just love this new outfit!  It was a Target special that Mimi helped me find! This was bath time yesterday and Kaleb let me take some pictures before we got dressed.  I had to add the picture of his little chicken legs, I just love them!  He is getting to be so much fun....we play dress up at least twice before we leave the house and he is so patient with me.  I told him that was a must since I didn't get a little girl and he said that was just fine!

My Angel

I just wanted to update my photos....this is Kaleb at 9 weeks.  He is getting so big!  We were supposed to have his 2 month check up on Thursday, but I cancelled due to everyone sick with the swine flu!  I just didn't want to chance getting him exposed to anything.  Call me crazy, but I would hate to have to deal with that....so I will let y'all know his new weight and height once I reschedule!!!

QT with Daddy....

This is one of my favorite pictures of Kaleb.  Just FYI he is watching the MAVS game with his father.  This is their quality time together :)  The other night Mimi watched Kaleb and we got to go the the MAVS game and it was a blast!  It was fun to get to spend some time together.....since Kaleb got here, this was our first time away.  I was so nervous to leave him, but in what better hands than his Mimi!  She is the best with him and after my 3rd phone call to check on him I figured she had it covered.  After the game, Brian was insistent that we stop at the shop and get Kaleb an outfit.  We got the cutest little outfit so he can wear it the next time we go as a family!  Oh- GO MAVS!!!  They made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs.....
